Have You Met Truthy Ruthy? She's back with One Story - Two Books! Six Optional Endings! Creativity at its Best! All By Sari Barel...

You might have met Truthy Ruthy when I read and reviewed  the book about her telling lies... If you haven't read it yet, do check it out because, to me, it's the very first book you should read in the series... You see, Truthy Ruthy had a lesson to learn and we were right there with her when she chose not to tell untruths any more...

This time, through Sari Barel's amazing creativity, she has created two books, one story, with six optional endings... and other good stuff! Here's the book trailer for the one celebrating Christmas!

After the introduction, you can choose:
1. Pessimistic thinking brings disappointment.
2. Positive thinking leads to remarkable ideas.
3. Innovative thinking leads to great surprises for all.

If your child has become a real fan of Truthy Ruthy, then you might want to get both of the books for each celebration since they are slightly different! But, at least you should choose to celebrate Truthy Ruthy's Birthday Surprise!

You see, when you open the book, you immediately are given a surprise! You can download a template so that your child can create his/her own book! I didn't download it  but here's a picture to give you an idea of what it looks like! Cool, right?!

Now here's the fun part, when you start to read, you can choose how the book will be presented...That means that you can read 3 different stories in the same book!

After the introduction, you can choose:
Dream one – an ending that leads to Ruthy’s disappointment Dream two – an ending that leads to Ruthy discovering her creativity or
Dream three – an ending that leads to Ruthy showing initiative...

If your child has become a real fan of Truthy Ruthy, then you might want to get both of the books for each celebration since they are slightly different! But, at least you should choose to celebrate Truthy Ruthy's Birthday Surprise! OR, Truthy Ruthy's Christmas Surprise! Both are Fun and Highly Recommended!

Now here's the fun part, when you start to read, you can choose how the book will be presented...That means that you can read 3 different stories in each  book!

On the day of her mom's birthday party
 the whole family came.
Each of them brought a gift for Mom
 and wished her Happy Birthday.
Mom noticed that Ruthy
wasn’t in the room anymore.
 “Where is Ruthy?” asked Mom.
“Maybe she has fallen asleep?”
~~~
Ruthy may have been only 5, but she was able to figure out how she could give a gift to her mother! And at the same time learn how to consider options, make choices, and use creativity to help her meet her needs for a gift--without money! There is certainly much to consider in this story. By giving children three options, they are able to consider what they personally want to do and gain confidence that they can and have made appropriate decisions and gain self-worth.
I certainly applaud Sari Barel for this impressive teaching series. It is fun while teaching basic moral decision-making. The full-color pictures of Ruthy and her family add greatly to the enjoyment and the use of technology available in the book is an added beneficial incentive for sharing the books with your children. Highly recommended...
